Hi all. . .

I'm a bit confused. . . there are both blue and green screen fabrics out there. Which one do I want for shooting in HD on the HVX for the best compositing?

Thanks much!

Depends on the foreground. Green is best in general, because it's brighter than blue, but if you're shooting bright green frogs, use a blue screen - and only shoot the Blue Man Group over green.

Thanks, Jon!

Perhaps I should buy BOTH a green and a blue. . . just in case I end up shooting a frog.

Hello Stephen,
Check this site out for green screen.

http://www.eefx.com/

I shot blue for years with BetaSP.
Green seems to work better with the HVX200,
at least for me.

Hi there, Jon. . . do you have a recommended double-sided vendor? I was about to place an order with Mike's recommended eefx.com (I've seen several good things about their product) but now I wonder if there is another option I should consider.

Thanks much.

Hello Stephen,
Here is a reversible one.
Lastolite REVERSIBLE Chromakey
Blue and Green Screen Curtain
10' x 12'

The eefx is good because the material will
light up more evenly.
