before I bought my XH A1 and HV20, I had the GL-2. I've
always used the cheap TDK mini-DV tapes from Costco.
They are sold in a pack of eight for less than $20. Each
tape is roughly $2.50......

I personally don't see any difference, but am I wrong?

I ve been using their TDKs for years, have they changed to JVC ??

I have also been using the TDK tapes from Costco since about 1999. TDK is one of the companies that actually manufactures their own media and it is well-rated.

I've been using TDK as well... no problems here, and will continue to use TDK
