I'm looking at getting a fisheye for our Canon HD cams and have been considering the Raynox as a cheaper option to the century lenses. Anybody used their .24 fisheye lens with the Canon or FX1?

Any feedback would be great. I know how many people on here use the smaller raynox fisheye so I though a few might have this one as well.

Hey Patrick.

I have the fish for the FX.

It's a bit heavy, very prone to smudges and slight aberrations are obvious to the trained eye. There's vignetting too.

That said, I'm pretty satisfied with mine. I wouldn't spend the extra dough on a CO. The fish is a novelty shot for me and the five seconds i have the footage in the edit, most wouldn't notice the imperfections.

Thanks Jason.

Anybody use this lens on a non-Sony cam? I've heard of some problems ,wondering if anybody got it to work well?
