Using footage shot in 1080i, how do I export it as 720p thru Premiere Pro? When going thru the settings with exporting movie, it is only giving me the option of 720 X 480, not 720 X 1280...? Thanks.

WMV? AVI? Jeremy Levin May 4th, 2007, 01:13 PM I'm not exactly sure. Whichever is the highest quality format to run from a windows media server to a 52+ inch HD screen. Steven Gotz May 4th, 2007, 06:41 PM You need to use the Adobe Media Encoder in the File>Export menu. Pick one of the 720p presets. You may have to fix the audio settings though. I do this all the time because my HDTV is 720p and there is no sense in wasting dara tare on something that will be scaled down by the TV. Better I scale it down and use the same data rate. HD Link does a good job on capture from Sony 1080i PAL material |
