Greetings
I'm currently using Premiere Pro 2. I find the SW interface a bit 'awkward'................ and that description would be a bit kind. ;-). I have only done DV editing so far but I'm transitioning into HDV editing. I also feel like rendering times are really high but that may be due to the slower machine I had previously done my editing on.
Anyway, can I get a heads-up from Premiere and Vegas users re editing "ease and functionality" with HDV content. I'm looking at possibly upgrading to PP3 in June and also purchasing Cineform Aspect HD. Those two upgrades alone would set me back around $800. Since I'm not particularly fond of the Premiere Pro interface and rendering speed I figured this would be a good time to investigate jumping ship to the Sony camp.
*** BTW, I do have a new very fast core 2 duo machine so I won't be HP limited with either SW.
Regards
