Tim mentioned in a post that there was some sort of 2.35.1 aspect ratio setting on the HD200/250. I am trying to get it so we can frame properly on my shoot in the lcd.

It's in the LCD/VF menu under SAFETY ZONE.

There are two options for 2.35:1.

2.35:1 CE (Centers the frame lines exactly in the middle)

2.35:1 CH (This one shifts the 2.35:1 area into the top of the 16x9 area, and allows you to shoot for a "common top line" incase you need a 16x9 version for broadcast.)

The only problem is that the 2.35:1 frame lines option only exists in 720P24 or 720P25 mode, not 720P60. That's probably why you aren't seeing it.

I actually found it. I got the HD200 today for the remaining of the shoot (Rental) since I am shooting some slowmo. Just setting it up right now.

Its turning out pretty damn good. Thanks to your settings =) I posted a small clip.

By the way, the HD200/250 also now have shutter expressed in degrees like a film camera. This feature only works in 24P or 25P mode as well, but you can find it on the 3rd page of the LCD/VF menu, under SHUTTER DISP. Switch it from SEC to DEG. 180° is NORMAL 1/48th in 24P. 90° is what was used on Saving Private Ryan and the Coliseum scenes in Gladiator.

Yes, 1/96th, though it's probably actually 1/100th in reality.

It adds... Well, I guess you could say sharpness and edge. You really just have to look at it in context to see how it affects the mood of the piece. It's all in how you use it really.
