My friend has an HD tv in his house, so how would I go about hooking the A1 to it and playing footage off of a firestore? I don`t mean using the tv as a monitor, just to check out stuff on the tv thats been previously filmed

Use the component cable for sure, or some HDTV might work with firewire cable.
