I think my DV out in my camera has shorted-out or something. Does not get recognized on three different computers using different cables. Has anyone had any experience with this? IS there a workaround besides getting another camera for a deck?

What sort of camera? How old is it? Is it possible it's been disabled in the O/S somehow? Did it ever actually work with a pc? If it really is blown and is a relatively recent product, why not get it fixed by the dealer/ manufacturer?

Just thought I'd ask.
