I've heard on other threads that you can import 720p30 footage slow-mo'd (somewhat) to a 720p24 timeline. How is this done? would my better option be to shoot sd60p and upres? and I don't remember if premiere pro captures sd60p hdv. I'm just trying to figure out how i can use my hd1 as a b-cam to my 110.

I'm not providing much of a solution, but moving from 30fps to 24fps is pretty difficult to do well, just because it's a 20% slowdown, which would be pretty noticeable visibly.

Carlos, are you actually trying to get slow motion? If not, stick to a 30p timeline--30p will not look that great if played back at full speed in 24p.

If in fact you are going for slow motion, Carlos, what you need to do is to import your 30p footage onto a 24p timeline and then simply slow it down by exactly 20%. How this is actually accomplished in practical terms depends upon what NLE you're working with.
