I really like my miller head, but I must say the wooden pod is alright but I want to put other legs under it.

The head has a flat mount, so was wondering if there is a ball head adapter for it, especially sense most pods have a 75 or 100 ball mount.

What tripod legs would be totally strong enough to prevent torque movement.

Suggestions please.

thank you,

Bogen/Manfrotto makes a flat base to ball mount adapter. As for wooden leg replacements, consider carbon fiber sticks if you have the budget. They are light weight and don't transmit much vibration.

A lot of it depends on how much weight you plan to put on it.

Hi Dale,
I guess that you are using an SLR lens with your camera?
In that case a 100mm bowl would be recommended. And
it would be better to start a new thread on the 'under water ...' subforum.
Maybe ask the long lens users ... 'How would you rate your sticks (and head)'
or something of the sort .
here is a link to the Manfrotto adapter and two tripod that I (for myself) thought of , sorry no experience or recommendation on either of the two.
