I'm wondering if the new Macbook's can handle Color and every aspect of FCS2, as the old ones only the 17'' one could.

It works fine. Motion also works, but the 'real time' performance is not anywhere near as good as you would get on an Octo MacPro. Like Tim said the real time doesn't perform as it would on a Mac Pro, however still does your rendering relatively fast.
