in search of a workflow for BetaSP delivery of a broadcast master using HDV tape. we recently made the switch from SD cameras to all HDV.

looking for workflows. how are people doing this? i'm interested in learning from others' experiences and avoiding any of the glitchy things that seem to be happening when we edit in an HDV timeline? AIC seems less glitchy. but the color seems sort of washed out.

thoughts? experiences?

I usually edit in HDV and drag the finished sequence into a SD sequence and render. Takes some time but the results have always been good.
