hello,

how do most people set up their external mic on the dvx100? i've tried mic 1 and leaving the internal mic on and mic 2 with no internal mic. do you put the gain up on the menu?

just want to know if i'm doing it right. if not, what is the best setting?

I use the ME66/K6 with my DVX100 as well- you have to plug it into mic 2, then switch both L and R to Mic2 input (it's a shotgun mic, mono).
