Hi:

I have currently only the built in mic on the XH A1, how can I reduce sencitivity? Problem is that I will be recording in a very noisy environment, noise/signal will be the same, but last time I tried sound was awful because of too loud recording level.

I have found that I can increase it in the audio setup.

Thanks, Erik

did you try switching the Mic. ATT button below the LCD display. Att stands for Attenuation -- is the reduction in amplitude and intensity of a signal

You also can go manual with the levels, and there is a wind noise reduction option in the menu

but you'd probably still have the ATT on regardless

Thanks, looks like that does it.

For very high sound level venues, you have to enable MIC ATT, otherwise the input preamps will saturate/clip, even if you adjust the audio level controls or use AGC mode.
