Hi all, I just returned from a two week eco-trip in Brazil. Here is my first clip of a Hyacinth Macaw in the wild. I used the standard 20x lens and auto white balance. Gain at -3. Bob

Bob Thompson Brendan Marnell July 1st, 2007, 01:06 PM Six seconds of blue bliss, Bob Any more please? That's my first glimpse of Hyacinth Macaw, thanks. Bob Safay July 8th, 2007, 04:48 AM Bob, thanks. I edit with Vegas. I was shooting from the back of a truck. Unfortunately it was not practical to use a tripod. Dale Guthormsen July 9th, 2007, 10:50 PM Bob, Very nice shot, and it is a bird I have never seen, thank you!!! I think the clip is steady eough to appreciate the bird. A good hand held job for certain!! In the movies these days they are starting to actually put camera movement into them as dead still doesn't seem normal. Hum, I must have been ahead of my time. |
