Hi,
I have an old underwater housing that I hope to fit an PD170 into.
The camera is controled via LANC(Remote).

Since I have not yet got a PD170 I have tried the housing with a DCR-HC85 and a DCR HC96.
But there seems to be a differens in LANC behaviour between the two cameras.
One difference I have noticed is that when the cameras are turned off ( Shut down, not just stopping the recording) via the underwater housing controls, it's possible to turn the HC96 camera on again via the the same controls, whereas the HC85 do not respond.

So my question is if someone know how the PD170 would respond or if anyone know why there is a difference between the two cameras.
