Smaller package but the same crappy picture quality and hard-to-work-with MPEG-TS codec... JVC is a huge disappointment on the consumer front. Why did they abandoned HDV? Why did they stick with 3 tiny chips? Didn't they come out with a SD model with a huge single chip? I think it was a 1/2.5 inch chip. Had they stuck with that chip size; they might have given Sony and Canon some decent competition.
