its not perfect but its a really good first start...

Shooting a short tomorrow with the HPX-500. wanted to test it out with the M2...

So I did some side by side shooting of my 200 and the 500...

My AC Lee at first thought it couldn't be done...but with help from my gaffer friend Jarred they where able to rig my crazy Idea to life...

yes thats Zip ties ...

Because we flipped the M2 and we should have had a bigger tripod then the Cartoni Focus...on longer lenses My AC had to be really care full not to bump the Camera...

this is pretty much how all my AC's feel...

The footage reminded me of some of my first red rock footage with vignetting and lack of edge to edge sharpness...this is more of a design flaw of our homemade system then the redrocks fault...but like the first time I aspect to continually get better results as I tweak with the system...

we where shooting 720PN with +6 Gain...as a test to see it compared to the HVX with the same gain...

some people may think Im crazy to put a DOF adapter on a 2/3 inch camera....But it did give me acsses to all of my Nikon Lenses...

and still much shallower Depth of field then 2/3 inch or 16mm...

and there must be a reason why someone made a 2/3 inch adapter...

I hope to Improve Edge to Edge sharpness tomorrow....

I'll post stuff from the short when I can my next day off is in 9 days...
I plan on doing a little podcast of my review of the camera and post a comparison video of the HVX=200 with M2 compared to the HPX-500 with "stock" fuji lens...
