Boy talk about missing a deadline ! Here I was tooling home from Panama, arriving home at 4 am this morning. Thinking the deadline was the 26th I had plenty of time to finish the edit and post. Much to my chagrine, after reading my mail, the deadline had long passed.

Into the tank.

Anyway I will post a link to my efforts later today, whilst avoiding the nips and tears of the pesty buggers.

Hi Jim,
Very professional looking - with absolutely fantastic editing.
Looks like you all had a great day on the water, and it was nice the capture concluded with a release, which I believe is the norm these days?
The sheer volume of water coming over the back of the boat was amazing!
The music complimented the action beautifully.
Very nice entry - well done...

Always nice to see a great fighter given a chance to fight another day.

Great color, great editing. Good job!!

Thanks guys. All the special effects were done in After Effects with a little help from my buddy Andrew Kramer (videocopilot.net). This week long trip ended up with 62 sailfish, 46 marlin of which we caught 28. Not a bad weeks work!

When fishing for Marlin we use 80 lb test line, sailfish and all other species 20 lb test or fly rods. I made Capt Jack back down hard to get the waterfall over the transom, keeping with the theme ya know.

Anyway glad you all liked it, will try to be on time next go round.
