His number is listed through CES too. Not very hard to find.

Check out the spectacular video from their website!

This things real.... yeah, and I'm a Chinese fighter pilot.

I've been told by a friend who is well into this stuff, that it is a hoax, that there is a quantum disk parts showing with the cover off the processor.

Note the clean room appears to be not so clean setup and cheap. You will also note the lens on the phono plug system (nice one) appear to point towards the case, where they would have little function (unless they are ball lens).

However something like this could come out one day, who knows maybe we have got lucky, but until I see working proof I'm skeptical. I should note, that I knew people that were actually negotiating on working on technology like this, but that tech was a lot lot lot faster (and we still haven't seen that). There is a lot of uneconomical stuff in the labs out there for years, like holographic memory cubes.

PC OS's and code can be emulated.

after watching the video, I just think this cannot be a scam.

it is just a mockery. they are having fun. nobody can expect people to believe this.

Craig Terott September 16th, 2005 08:49 AM

Shouldn't this thread be in AREA 51?

Craig Terott September 16th, 2005 12:00 PM

Can't wait till this expo, if for only shear entertainment value. Someone pleeeeese bring a voice recorder so we can hear this guy squirm and play dodgeball with pointed questioning. And I want to hear him explain why his laptop is not fully funtional.

I like how they cut to a still image of the chip so they can do the chroma key overlay. LOL!

Wayne Morellini January 4th, 2006 06:41 PM

OK, anybody at CES to check out where ever this exists.

Heath McKnight January 4th, 2006 07:03 PM

I'd forgotten about this thing. Let's see if they actually show up.

Wayne Morellini January 5th, 2006 02:54 AM

Yes, I want to see if I need $2K, or my own flying saucer to get this thing ;)

This is where the CES pages says they are at:

Heath McKnight January 6th, 2006 12:17 AM

On their site, they have some awards, too. This has to be fiction.
