Re: Viewing AVCHD on an HDTV
Thanks for the info (again). One last question and I'll try to leave you alone ;)
Which converter did you buy from Aunsoft? The "Video Converter for Mac" or the "MTS/M2TS Converter for Mac"? I'm thinking I might buy the Video Converter. It supports many more file inputs besides MTS. One thing I also noticed/tested. The "cat" command can be used on Mac OS X to joint MTS files as well. It actually works better/faster than the converter from Aunsoft. I also noticed that there is still a small glitch/blip with the Aunsoft software when merging multiple files, but using the "cat" command and then using Handbrake provides a smoother merge of the files. Here is the command I'm using: cat file1name.MTS file2name.MTS file3name.MTS > output.MTS You can join as many files as you want. Anyway, thanks for everything! -Brett |
Re: Viewing AVCHD on an HDTV
I am on a pc but I purchased the MTS/M2TS converter. I really like multiAVCHD for joining mts files but that is not written for a mac. I guess you could run it on Parallels or something like that. It works great for what I do.
