Open Channel is running a two-day Marketing, Sales & Distribution workshop, The Insider, for Producers with feature/drama series projects in development.

During the weekend workshop on January 30 & 31 with Distributor Dean O'Flaherty (ex-Arclight, Kojo Pictures, Director of Beautiful), both experienced and emerging Producers/Directors can bring along a project for industry evaluation and group discussion and further development.

A great lead up to 37' South for 2010, learn more about who’s who in the current business of domestic distribution and marketing and international sales agents, and discuss what types of projects they are looking for. Improve your approach and pitch. Learn about the pitfalls of financing and distribution. Develop your marketing, sales and distribution strategy further.

* SPAA/ADG members are being offered the workshop for the special Open Channel member price of $260.

* Experienced feature Producers do not need to complete step one of the application process (synopsis submission), and can apply directly for a place.
