Sad news:

Tim Hetherington, director and producer of the Oscar-nominated
documentary “Restrepo,” was killed in Misurata, Libya today and
three photographers working beside him were wounded.

I saw "Restrepo" in New York last September and it was without a
doubt one of the most compelling war documentaries I've ever seen
(the title comes from Firebase Restrepo in Afghanistan, named after
a young soldier that was killed in action there). It is available on Netflix:

The tragic loss of such a gifted filmmaker is a horrible shame.
