Only God forgives
 

I saw "Only God forgives" yesterday, that must have been the weirdest film to date I have seen and left me quite confused, not sure whether to like it or to hate it. Visually I thought it was an artpiece, every scene looked like a painting, the mood was also there, constantly like a threat, it was a dark depressing experience. Ryan Gosling has one face expression throughout the entire movie and says maybe five words. The storyline is very simple, there is not one person I could connect with and there is brutal very explicit violence in there which caused people to leave the theater and it is soooooooo slow, it crawls like a snail and yet, I think I liked it, anyone else that had this feeling?
