The BMPCC produces ProRes encoded video, Vegas will handle it just fine.

If your computer is up to spec.

As Bryan said. You will need to install Apple's free Quicklime to get the codec Vegas needs. One watch out is that the Vegas sharpening tool, which you might need depending on the content - the BMPCC footage is soft - is problematic in areas of low light resulting in a pulsing effect that is most unwelcome. I haven't experimented with anything other than ProRes LT shooting in video mode as yet however the same effect happens with the Sony RX10. I solved the problem with the RX10 by sharpening in camera which I don't believe one can do with the BMPCC, unfortunately.

Other than that Vegas handles ProRes well, is my experience
