I think I'm trying to say that they are not going to put out a firmware update every week or month. They are aware of updates people want as well as any "fixes" that need to be addressed. In my meeting in Vegas, I tried to get the guys to cough up what they could and couldn't do....but no luck. So, I don't think you are being negative, maybe a bit impatient...which is fine. If I spent 16K on a camera, I'd want everything to be perfect too. Cinegear is this Friday at Paramount so I'll try to find out what I can.

I do not own a C300, but I purchased a Canon xf100 from Film Tools (obviously cheaper), and I dealt with Jim Martin. I found him to be both helpful and extremely professional.

He does not deserve any criticism.
