C100 lanc/remote control
 

I plugged my Bebob Zoe lanc controller into the C100 to see what it would do.
I can switch on and off and start and stop recording.
In my dreams I hoped it might do push autofocus with the Canon EF 24 - 105 lens. But no.
Are there any experts reading this who know if it would be technically possible for Canon to provide push autofocus and zoom via lanc with a new motorised lens?
If so does anybody have an idea if this is likely to happen?

i too am hopefull for those things

canon has mentioned at least looking at making a power zoom for eos, and the C line would seem to be the perfect match with an lanc remote.

what i'd also be very interested to know is if by some miracle, the panasonic intended lanc controllers, will work with it:

Manfrotto 521PFI looks like a great wired follow focus solution. if it works....
