Alex -

I have two of your chargers, a two-bay TC200 for Canon LP-E6n batteries and a four-bay TC-40 for Canon C300 Mark I batteries.

Is either upgradable to take the BP-A30/A60 batteries? In the past I've been able to send Dolgin the charger and have the battery sleds swapped out for a fee but I also know there's a difference in voltage between the C300 Mark I and the Mark II batteries so it may not doable in this case.

Hi Jon, as much as we 'd love to offer the upgrades, in this case, it is not feasible as the Canon BP-A60 batteries are 14.4V - not 7.2V, and also are much more power hungry due to the 90 Wh capacity rating.

Thanks for confirming Alex - that's what I figured!

Great that an aftermarket unit is available. How about aftermarket batteries?! I am surprised that nobody is offering these yet. Anyone know of any out there?

I run my mark II off of the v-mounts, so just rely on the one Canon BP-A30 as a backup, but it would be nice to have a spare. Not worth $495, for the Canon branded, though...

We just added a Canon BP-A60/BP-A30 battery configuration to the V adapter battery plate - now you can power your 12V accessory with a BP-A60/30 battery
