Alright great. I think I will try out an adapter. Do you know what adapter is prefered as of now?

Another question about the adapters will it do well with still photography? Probably a dumb question but I have to be safe!

Thanks for your time!
Terry.

If mirror gets down for video, it will work fine for stills. I have a bunch of Nikkor primes that are doing just fine.

Alright great, Thanks Chris.

Any insight on the adapter of choice for the 28mm Nikkor?

When I first got the 5D, I bought 5 adapters, Kawa brand out of ebay. This was February of last year. They were $ 8.00 apiece, then $7.00 a piece for shipping. I leave them on the lenses I use most. The have been just fine. I have heard others complain about quality on some of the cheap adapters... even these Kawas, but mine have been fine.. These are all mass produced in China, I am guessing, and I guess it depends on the batch you buy out of.

this is what you are refering to? Nikon Lens to Canon EOS Adapter 300D 350D 400D 20D 30D - eBay (item 290437745220 end time Jun-20-10 15:17:33 PDT)

That is the company, and it looks like the adapter.
