DV Info Net - Help, please BEFORE I Buy

For a rig, I would suggest you to go to the indifocus.com web site. They have great products at very affordable prices. I also have a post called "7d on steroids" you could check out. The cool thing about the indifocus products is that once you receive the unit from them, you can virtually configure it the way it best fits you shooting style. For instance, the "ultracompact" from that company comes out with the "C" mounted on the right side: we put it on the left side, we mounted the handle upside down to fit more stuff at the top of the bar (including a lillput monitor), adjusted the position of the sholder pad, front hadles, pretty much everything. If you need to slide the camera out of the rig it's easy since it attaches to it just with a Giotto's quickrelease system. The FF system is also very adjustable and smooth.

Also, in my opinion, buy the 7d, and get better glass with the money you save.
