firstcamshop.com - Another scam website targeting us - Please be aware.

Hi folks,

For those of you looking for your next bargain on a Canon sale, be warned!!

From the same scammers that brought you:
justcanon.net
justnikon.net
justcanons.net
justcamcorders.net
justcamerashop.net
shootmarket.com
shootphotomarket.com
shootonlinemarket.com
shoot-store.com

We now have the following:
firstcamsale.com
firstcamsale.net
firstcamshop.com
firstcamshop.net

They are adopting the same proven method as before.
They have just begun to saturate Googe adwords again with the deals of the century... Just do a search on a Canon 5D mark II and you will see for yourselves.

Deals that are too good to be true - because they are. You will never see the goods, or your money again.

Be aware!!! They only just registered these websites a few days ago. The ad campaign has started tonight. Just watch the fallout as hundreds will be conned yet again!

If this message just saves a couple of people from being conned, it will be worth it.

Kris

Fine, but we've always encouraged folks to do business only with our trusted site sponsors anyway.

Clayton,

I've been following these guys for a while. There's a huge amount of evidence to support that they are criminals.

Even if you ignore the vast amount of people who have claimed not to have received the goods they paid for, nor their money back, there is the following:
1. The phsycial address they post on their site is bogus. It's not a shop, it's a house. Google street photo doesn't lie.
2. The phone line for 'customer care' is a constant answering machine.
3. If you refuse to pay by direct bank transfer, you can pay by credit card... with a 17.5% surcharge on the total order. (Actually that's only meant to frighten you into reverting to direct bank transfer, you can't actually pay by credit card at all)
4. The terms&conditions stated is a direct copy from another online camera retailer
5. They claim to have a long-serving reputation for 'many years', yet they only registered the website a few weeks prior to trading.
6. Since exposing them in my blog I've had over 100 emails from their customers asking for advice on how they can get their money back. Sadly, they only reviewed the website after their goods never showed and found my blog item.

How much evidence do you need?

Once again: do business only with our trusted site sponsors, and you won't have this kind of problem.
