I got my GL2 just a couple of months back and am already starting to get scared. I have a JVC DVL-357 (consumer camera) for over 2 years now and I took it on holidays, skiing, beach, etc. and never had any problems.

I fail to see why this camera is so fragile. I just don't see how this problem should be seen as something 'normal' in prosumer cameras.

I dont see it as something normal and i would love to see a class action suit on this! I will probably not buy another cannon. I expect more than 13 months of use before it goes to h#ll.
