Canon GL 1 color problem
 
I've been noticing that my GL1 doesn't record red correctly. A friend lent me an older monitor ( Pany BTs901y).I set everything flat on the monitor,white balanced the Canon in manual and then auto mode. Regardless, the RED Craftsman tool box looks orange!
The GL 1 only lets you set the red green balance, and the contrast.
Any ideas?

Do other (not Craftsman) red items playback as orange?

Have you tried other monitors and TVs?
