Head-cleaning cassettes for GL2

None of the retailers in my area seem to stock Canon's DVM-CL cleaning cassette, and it isn't listed on many online sellers' sites, either.

Can other miniDV cassette cleaners be used?

Any miniDV cleaning cassette will be fine. I'm sure Canon doesn't actually manufacture theirs; it's probably a Panasonic. I've never heard of a "bad" brand. Just make sure to follow the instructions carefully.
