What do you think of this footage...
So my friends want me to do a music video for them. After asking around about how to get this effect... and people telling me it's gonna cost a fortune to just get this done by renting all kinda equipment...im happy it actually worked. Tell me what you think so far and any suggestions. This is only about 10 seconds of what i filmed so far, but im gonna do it all like this i think, should be done 2 weeks or so'ish...
----Im not using amp cords...or anything for the guitars and bass, so should i use a mic for the singer? or what? http://s90140792.onlinehome.us/1.mov 72x144 inch white cloth (2) small flood lights Canon Gl2 in frame mode...using Vegas 4 -Peppe |
dude, thats awsome. i filmed a video for my buddies like that. the only lights we used were behind a white background. but we used a normal vhs camcorder. nice stuff, id love to see the finished product. better quality than mine.
dont give the singer a mic, it kinda looks wierd having a mic for the singer, and no chords or amps for the guitars. but you should use amps and mics. if the guitar players got a kick ass rig, why not show it off! |
well like the thing is...that was filmed in front of a door..they all do have some amazing stuff but i dont have enough space to film there stuff i dont think....i can try try though....dunno how its gonna work though...thanks though

you could still fit amps in there, try to get them in some shots. but its your call, your the director.
|
It looks like you were shooting auto-focus. Every time the guitar player strummed, the guitar would focus in and out. Other than that I'd say it looks cool.
|
its manual focus...i did it intentionally since, theres 3 other band members...i like the shots to go in and out of focus, and there all fast cuts...so it wont look like that at all

Have the pics been moved?
|
yea sorry about that
