No LCD Screen in Record Mode
 
A friend has a GL2 and is experiencing a peculiar problem. He is a teacher and wonders if one of the kids changed a setting. I did a search but could not find it.

When in record mode the LCD screen has no picture, except for a gradient purple color. Viewfinder works fine. LCD works fine in playback mode.

Any ideas?
