Can you modify a GL2 to record video to the SD card?

Hello everyone,

I've been out of the loop for the past 5 years with video related stuff, was wondering if anyone has come up with a mod or a hack for the Canon GL2 to record video to the SD memory card instead of the miniDV tape. I know it's a long shot but people are pretty crafty these days. : )

I tried to use the search function but it's not working, keeps giving me this error message: Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 180355072 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 71 bytes) in /export/sites/dvinfo.net/docs/forum/search.php on line 1155

Thanks for any replies!

One technique is to connect a DV recorder to the firewire port.

Excellent, thanks for that!

Kind of pricey but it's good to know somethings out there.
