Turning off power save?????

I am trying to use my GL1 as a webcam, and so far it is working, the problem is after a few minutes the camera turns off. I can't seem to find any type of power save button on the camera or in the menu, where would one find this.
for the webcam mode I am in record mode without recording and hooked into my Power Mac G5, and using iChat. I get the video icon in iChat, and I even get a video when I click on my icon. I don't have any buddies around this weekend to try this with, but as I said the camera is turning off after 5 minutes.
If someone has iChat and would like to help me figure this out my iChat is cfritsche@mac.com

But how do I turn off the power save?

Try removing the video tape.

The "power save" menu option is not available on the GL1. It is a GL2 feature.

Removing the tape does prevent shut-off after ~5 minutes in the GL1.
