Canon Factory Service: Dread turn to delight
I have to say I was dreading dealing with Canon over my circuit board crash in my GL2 (see my other post). I dealt with the NJ center, and I have to say they had the camera back in my hands in four days! I was expecting a major delay on this project (we are in the middle of post production) after reading some of the posts here in dealing with repair. I am very impressed. If anyone has to have service, be sure to:
Get the name of who you talk to and ask for him or her each time Explain your situation if it’s a rush Follow up via phone call not through the web tracking program Also, if you live in a humid environment, take steps to avoid condensation, which is what did my Gl2 in (nearly). |
