GL-1 mic and video light combination
 

hey everyone, I shoot with a GL-1 and am trying to figure out the best and cheapest, on camara mic and video light rig..i like the beachtek mic input boxes, but I'm trying to find a way to mount a shotgun mic and a video light on top of the camera....any suggestion???

Visit a camera shot and get a shoe adapter that will allow multiple shoe mount devices. Note that SIMA has the "VideoBracket", SVB-1 for under $16. I've seen it at Best Buy, etc.

For a moderate priced shotgun mic, check out the Rode Video Mic, or possibly the Sennheiser MKE300. They can plug in to the MIC jack without the need for external adapters.
