High Speed capture at 2000 FPS?
I know the camera has a mode that can do the high speed "saving pricate ryan" look at 2000 fps on the menu. My question is, can you in any way get the camera to output that 2000fps through either hdmi or hdv? i want to get a really nice slo mo shot and figured recording at 2000fps slowed down would look good, but importing won't actually import at that speed that I know of.
If this can be done anyway that would be great! |

Yeah I guess I do (sorry novice here)......my goal is to try to get a really slow mo clip without seeing it go choppy. I am not sure how to do this, any advice?

One good trick with the HV20 is you can shoot at 60i and slow it 40% and play it at 24p for a good slow mo look. But I think you're talking about shooting at a fast rate for explosions like on Independence Day, etc.? If so the Sony HC7 can do that but not the Canon HV20 as far as I know.
