HF s11 firmeware updates ???
 

Hiya,

I may confusing things but i was quiet disappointed when i read that there is some firmeware updates for still cameras that allow them to record a video at up to 66Mo/s

a bit less with an official update.

so trying to find a similar update for my HF s11 and don't find any at all. Why the Cameras can be upgraded to get a better recording quality and not the camcorders ??
i understand that there is a lot more users of the 5D but I feel a bit like they release a camcorder then forget about it.

not all professional photo/video equipment gets firmwere updates, and you'd like to have one for a $1000 consumer camcorder, to make HF S11 shoot 50Mbs 4:2:2?
and who's gona buy XF100?
