NEW 2011 Canon Vixia Models
 

Though they haven't been announced yet, I took a look at the Vixia videos they have on their site, and they are displaying pics of one of the new models. Screen grabs below.

Looks to be the top of the line model... a large lens hood, viewfinder, and a large focus ring!!!!

I assume official announcements will be around 9AM EST.

Interesting... the new top of the line consumer model (HF G10) incorporates what looks to be the same lens/sensor/dsp system as in the XF100/XF105.

Same with the XA10 (but with added 'pro' features).

Looks like Canon just filled some holes in their lineup!

This XA10 looks like a terrific addition at a sensible price point with many of the good features of the XF100. Now I've got some hard thinking to do!
