They appear to be the same price ... wonder how they compare in lowlight ...

Since the HV10 isn't shipping until September, all you can do at this point is compare specs.

I should have a chart ready later today.

Modest contribution

HC3 :82 x 78 x 139mm HV10 = 58 x 104 x106

HC3 : 560g HV10 = 440g

HV10 is lighter and probably handier.

PS/Canon site shows shots with the the light of only 6 Small Candles...
