HV10 Questions?

I'be bee to videoaktiv.de and seen screen grabs from HV10, FX7, and HC3 and I must say HV10 one is the best although a bit oversaturated and I wonder are those grabs obtained from live camera working or from recorded material on tape as I understood from other forum that live camera capture doesn't measure the real world and isn't so important for consumers....
I also been to camcorder info page and read the review and from it I could tell that HV10 has adjustments for sharpness and color depth (?saturation) by +/- 1 and wonder if the change of those parameters will lead to dramatic change in picture or is the change subtle? for example:
-If I increase the sharpness by +1 will that make any undesirable effects in the picture?
-If I decrease the color depth by -1 will that make the colors washed out?

The picture does look oversaturated in the link you included but I have not found that to be the case with my HV10. There have been numerous samples posted here that typically show the color accuracy to be quite good. although just right for me might be oversaturated for you.

Here is one - you can search the forum for more:

I have not played around with the sharpness and color depth. (actually didn’t even know it was there ;-) buried in the custom picture settings.

I've played witht the custom settings a bit. I like the picture better with the sharpness turned up. As far as the color goes I've gotten into the habit of pushing the levels in post of most of the HDV footage anyway which is more effective.
