Was using it since the week it shipped in September 1995. What is going on? I am an advanced DV expert. I'm a Charter DV Shooter. I was shootin' DV when DV wasn't cool.

Well, to be precise, it's 24p over 60i, much like a DVX in standard 24p mode, but now in HD. It's actually too bad they didn't include a 30p mode too.

As far as I can tell, it doesn't drop any resolution in 24p mode.

Is There A Tutorial On How To Glean 24p From 24p-Over-60i HDV Recordings?
 

OK I'm looking for the tutorial on how to accomplish the 24P result in for example an MPEG4 file or you tell me what file format it should be in to be same as on the tape but editable. Just plain old Apple Intermediate Codec? What are the Final Cut Pro Project settings we should be on to start with a piece of 24p over 60i HDV recorded footage?

This is whole new territory for me as I think it is for everyone else right? If not just tell me to go away please. lol.
