Quicktime Pro not seeing HV20

I just got it this morning... Quicktime pro does not see it utilizing Firewire.... It says No recording device found... Am I doing something Wrong?? Imovie sees it fine...

unfortunately QT Pro does not see the HV20 in 10.4.9 however I am told that it works in the developer releases of Leopard ( 10.5 ). ( Alternate live audio sources however, at this point, still aren't available ( whereas they are with DV and 10.4.9, It may be the difference between DV and HDV or just that they havent' worked the bugs out yet in QT Pro in Leopard.

QT will see it, but not in HDV mode, only in DV.
