nope! no vignetting - hv20 has no extreme wide angle..
How do you like the Handle? i am thinking of re-designing it. Any suggestions?

I've been using my old Century Optics GL1 w/ bayonet connection with my HV20. I had to buy a 43 to 52mm step up ring. and a 52mm to 55mm male to male converter. It gives a nice wide FOV and in my opinion looks better than the canon adapter. Also bought a silver Fotodiox hood for when I am not using the wide-angle adapter.

Looks as in asthetically, not trying to say anything about the picture quality since I don't have the Canon part to try. I am very happy with my results and know that the optical quality of my lens is satisfactory. People should post more pictures of their "decked out" HV20s.

Looks good Max. My suggestion however would be to have it attached via the tripod mount underneath the camera so your hot shoe is still available. Also some foam for the handgrip would probably go a long way for comfort. ;-)
