So I just made my first 24p video using cineform aspectHD and premier Pro 2.0. The resulting video was not much different than the video before the pull down. I personally couldn't tell a difference. Are the rest of you getting a significantly different looking filmy look to your video when you perform a 3:2 pull down?

i found that too. that actual video didn't really look any different to me.
I would think that if you wanted like transitions and text motion...ect to appear in 24fps, you'd want to perform the pulldown so you could edit on a 24fps timeline.

removing pulldown doesn't really change the look (just removes a few weird interlacing artifacts) and makes the footage true 24p so it will fit into other 24p workflows ie timelines, and effects get rendered differently

It also renders to a higher quality and smaller file size when you edit in 24p.

They shoot sports/talk shows/news/ in 60i for a reason. It does the best job accurately re-producing the content to your TV screen. 24p works much better for effect in drama, telling a story, it gives whatever your showing a more 'authentic' feel, but it's certainly not going to make it feel like your sitting in the stands at a football game.

Actually, most sports today are shot in 60p.
