New batteries
 

Hi all,
Did anyone by any chance ask if the new batteries that come with the new cameras will work with the XL H1 & XH A1 cameras?
I will be in the market for a new battery or 2 soon, & if the new batteries work, i might get them instead of the originals.

hey bryce, yes, the xha1 batteries are compatible with the XF series. the other way around, BP-955(medium) will work with both XL and XH series, but oddly enough the BP-975(large) will not work with XH series only XL series. this is from the back of the XF brochure.

The other strange thing in the brochure regarding batteries
is that it states the XF series camcorders aren't compatible
with the BP-930 and BP-945. Hmm.

Hmm, thanks for that guys. Seems there is still some sorting out to do with regards to the specs. I will wait a little longer before i go ahead & order any new batteries i think. I really like the idea of the new batteries having the meters on them.
